The POULTRY AND PLANNING GUIDE is intended as a resource for residents affected by local applications for intensive poultry (and pig) applications, and as an aid to putting together an effective response. Part 1 sets out the legal and regulatory requirements and planning advice, while Part 2 looks at the potential impacts of intensive poultry or pig developments relevant to planning determination. The Guide will be revised periodically.
